AI4Good Lab equips women and gender-diverse individuals with the skills, mentorship, and community needed to launch careers in AI. In 2026, the program runs from May 4 to June 24, with cohorts in Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, and online.

This year’s program is not yet fully funded. By purchasing a symbolic “seat at the AI table,” you are making a sponsorship contribution that helps us continue delivering a high-quality program and create more opportunities for participants.

Choose the supporter tier that reflects your level of support. Each supporter receives a Seat Certificate to download, display, and share. Depending on the tier selected, supporters may also receive public recognition, a post-program impact report, and, at the highest tier, a ticket to attend Demo Day in Montreal.

Seats are available to individuals and organizations. Funds will support the 2026 AI4Good Lab program. Any additional proceeds will go toward next year’s program.

Applicable taxes will be added at purchase. Please note that seat fees are not eligible for charitable tax receipts.
We will manage your Seat Certificate through the Mila Learning Management System. You will be asked to create an account or sign in as part of the purchase process.

About AI4Good Lab

Founded in 2017 by Dr. Doina Precup and Angelique Mannella, AI4Good Lab equips women and gender-diverse individuals with the skills, mentorship, and community needed to launch careers in AI. The program runs annually across four cohorts, combining hands-on curriculum, industry mentorship, and a social impact project sprint that culminates in Demo Day.

The 2026 program runs May 4 to June 24, with cohorts in Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, and online. AI4Good Lab is hosted by Mila, Quebec AI Institute, in partnership with CIFAR, AMII, and Vector Institute.

In 2025, 76% of trainees left with increased interest in graduate studies in ML and AI, and 91% reported stronger intent to pursue a career in the field. Trainees consistently point to peer networks, hands-on project work, and deepened technical skills as the defining outcomes of their time in the program.

As a supporter, you play a direct role in breaking down barriers and creating equitable access to education and careers in AI. Your support helps fund stipends, curriculum, mentorship programming, and the infrastructure that makes four simultaneous cohorts possible.

How it works

  1. Choose your seat tier and pay through the Mila portal. The Mila portal allows you to complete your purchase by credit card.
  2. Provide your certificate details. We will ask for the name or organization name to include on your certificate and confirm the best contact information.
  3. Receive your personalized Seat Certificate. Your certificate will include:
    • Your name or organization name
    • Your unique Seat Number
    • The inscription: AI4Good Lab 2026, Celebrating 10 Years of Inclusion
  4. Coordinate any tier-specific benefits. Depending on your tier, additional benefits and recognition opportunities will be coordinated with you directly.
  5. Spread the word. Once received, you are welcome to share your Seat Certificate with your community, post it on LinkedIn, tag us, or keep it as a personal record.
