TRAIL for Professionals - Full program (9 modules)
The full TRAIL program seamlessly integrates the perspectives of both leaders and practitioners, providing participants with a holistic understanding of responsible AI. It encompasses high-level strategic insights as well as the technical methodologies needed to implement AI responsibly, requiring a basic understanding of AI technical concepts.
AI Leadership Journey (6 modules)

Frequently asked questions

What are the prerequisites for the Program?

Participants should possess a foundational understanding of AI concepts, relevant professional experience, and a commitment to applying responsible AI practices. Specifically, for the AI Practitioner track, candidates should have an interdisciplinary background or interest, along with a basic knowledge of AI systems, probability, linear algebra, and machine learning.

What certification do participants receive?

Participants who complete the TRAIL for Professionals full program, the AI Leadership Journey, or the AI Practitioner Journey will receive a certification upon completion. Individual modules do not offer certification.

How is the program structured?

The full program comprises 9 modules. You also have the choice between two tailored tracks (the AI Leadership Journey and the AI Practitioner Journey), or the flexibility to choose individual modules to suit your specific goals. Modules are delivered weekly according to a set schedule, ensuring a well-structured and engaging learning experience. Participants who complete the full program or one of the tailored tracks will earn a certification, while individual modules do not include certification.

How long does the program last?

Each module consists of one hour of individual preparation work followed by a two-and-a-half-hour live session with an expert

Can I attend the program remotely?

Yes, the program is fully online.

Is the program offered in both English and French?

Absolutely! We have three cohorts each year: two in English during the winter and spring, and one in French in the fall.

What is the cancellation policy?

All cancellations must be made in writing to education@mila.quebec.
The following policy applies without exception:
  • One month before the event: 100% refund, minus 5% admin fee
  • Three weeks before the event: 50% refund
  • Two weeks before the event: No refund
